Neurology – Great opportunity is for a Neurologist to establish a general adult solo private Neurology practice in Price with possible shared call with Neurologist in Vernal, UT at a sister hospital. This is a new practice position and the candidate will need to commit to residing in Price. The position will be both inpatient and outpatient. This could be a hospital employed, salaried, W-2 employed position with full benefits package including paid mal practice, cme, time off, major medical, dental, vision, 401K, etc. Sign on bonus negotiable. This could also be a private practice with a competitive gross hospital income guarantee in the $300K NET range plus all overheard expenses paid. A candidate who was fellowship trained in stroke, epilepsy, sleep EMG, or pain management would have to be willing to do general neurology and also recognize that there is not enough of a population to support doing too much specialization. Search is well supported by the hospital and physician staff and candidate would have strong referral base. Hospital has CT scan, MRI, Sleep Lab, etc. Call is 10 days a month. Neurologist will see a full range of neurological conditions including stroke, dementia, movement disorders, headaches, epilepsy, sleep disorders, chronic pain management, multiple sclerosis, or neuromuscular diseases. MD’s, DO’s, FMG’s, and J-1 Visa candidates are welcome. We have a telestroke set up for call with The University of Utah so if / when the doc leaves on vacation or CME or is not available we have the call being covered by The University of Utah. Call is quite light – out of the 10 days of call a month the doc will only come in on average 2-3 times during that 10 days. The new neurologist coming in would instantly have their calendar booked 3 months in advance. Everything is set up, support staff is trained, and this is a turn-key ready to go practice with a real need. Practicing Neurologists as well as Residents and Fellows are welcome to apply. Start date is open and flexible. Earlier in the year we hired a Neurologist to cover both Castleview Hospital in Price, UT as well as Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal, UT. He is doing so well and is so busy that we are going to have him focus his practice on Vernal only. Thus we are looking for another doc. No locums and no NP’s or PA’s.
