This neurology position in Ashland, Kentucky is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed opportunity. General Neurology
-100% Adult
-Approx. 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient consults
-The hospital has its own lab for neuro testing
-Must be comfortable with EMG and EEG
-Current full time neurologist see approximately 20-25 patients per day on average
-EPIC EMR
-Support staff consist of a practice manager, 2 admin asst, billing team, and each doctor will have their own nurse.
- M – F, 8a – 5p are the standard hours
- On-call: The medical staff by-laws require a minimum of 10 days per month (including weekends). The call is VERY light, it is actually call via phone. The stroke team manages the strokes, they may call neuro on call for consult. The Hospitalist will consult the following day.
