Join an expanding Neurology program that is part of a 350 bed, non-profit Level II Trauma Center. Our hospital is Primary Stroke Certified and our ED physicians are trained in TPA. Minimal competition in town ensures a busy practice and diverse patient panel. Professionally: Outpatient clinic need Monday-Friday, General Neurology or Parkinson’s focus -See 25 patients per day -Clinic is across the street from hospital Call: Is 1-5 weekdays and 1-5 weekends – when on call you can schedule a lighter clinic day -Round on inpatients, respond to all calls and consults in the hospital, cover stroke calls, EEGs, occasional need to come in at night, though more common that patients are held until morning -No admitting responsibilities -Support from Neuro ICU and Intensivists Compensation: Base salary + attainable wRVU bonus structure, full health benefits, malpractice coverage, sign on bonus, relocation allowance, CME, PTO etc. Robust Medical Center: 350 bed Level II Trauma Center, Internal Medicine Residency program, Primary Stroke Certified, employs over 370 physicians Service Area: 350,000 patient lives Additional need for a Parkinson’s specialist, FP, Adult Psychiatry and Internal Medicine Residency Director.
