Single-Specialty Group Nephrology Job in Merced, California
This nephrology position in Merced, California is offered as a single-specialty group arrangement. The other opportunity is approximately 1.5-2.0 hours outside of San Francisco with a two person group looking for a third. The community has a service area of close to 250,000. The group has over 250 dialysis patients at six units (the bulk in two). They are Medical Directors of two units and work currently out of one hospital. Hospitalist admit and the group average between 15-20 inpatients. Call would be 1:3. Starting salary will be extremely competitive with a three year track to partnership (the salary increases each year). They will provide health insurance and malpractice. There is a retirement plan after two years. 3 weeks vacation and 1 week for CME are also provided as part of the package.
