The mission of Internal Medicine of Northern Michigan is to provide exceptional person-centered care to our patients. IMNM is a physician-owned group that is transitioning out of inpatient care to solely focus on outpatient medicine. The practice was established in 1999 and serves patients in a 150 mile radius. IMNM is a recognized patient-centered medical home (PCMH) that also participates in an ACO sponsored by a regional physicians organization. An in-office laboratory provides a full menu of testing. The local hospital is a referral center with a wide array of state-of-the-art services, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, medical and radiation oncology, trauma, etc. Patients are admitted from the Emergency Department and cared for by Hospitalists during their inpatient or observation stay. Placement of the candidate will be assisted by and coordinated through the local hospital, with partnership available after initial three year contract term is completed.
