Responsibilities and Duties of the Internal Medicine
Diagnose and Treat chronic diseases or disorders, acute illnesses and infections or injuries
Prescribe treatments or therapies, and medications. Administer non-intravenous medications
Collect and record medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professional and Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment.
Provide health and wellness advice to patients and monitor progress or responses to treatments
Conduct research to increase knowledge about medical issues.
Prepare official health documents or records
Operate on patients to treat conditions and supervise patient care personnel
