Internal Medicine position in Southern Nevada. The position in Mesquite is a traditional (inpt and outpt) internal medicine position with some hospitalist duties. Physicians share "hospitalist duties" (and provide back up to the Emergency Room staff ) providing hospitalist type coverage 7om/7off. The physicians on "hospitalist duty" average about 8 cases per day. It is an employed opportunity. Physician would be employed by a large local multispecialty provider. The hospital has 25 beds and 19 active physicians on staff. This community has 330 days of sunshine a year plus no personal income tax. The area has a very low crime rate minimal traffic and 7 world class golf courses.
