We have a client in Kentucky, about an hour away from Winchester, KY, that is searching for a BC/ BE Hospitalist to join their well-established, busy facility. Start date is negotiable, but needed as soon as possible. Details: • BC/BE Hospitalist- Pediatrics • No visa candidates at this time • Successful candidate would provide care in the newborn nursery and inpatient pediatric unit • The work schedule would be shared between two pediatric hospitalists each working every other week and providing coverage in house 8-5 daily and taking call from home in the evening • Pediatric hospitalist is not required to be present at deliveries unless requested by OB • Would be responsible for the newborn nursery and inpatient pediatric clinic • Candidate must be willing to teach the residents on pediatrics rotation • Newborn Nursery: 23 bed Level I, 8 bed Level II care unit that focuses on supporting the neonate through the transition into extra uterine life and facilitating the recovery of the newborns experiencing delivery complications; nursing staff is NRP and STABLE certified • Pediatric Services: 10 beds with all telemetry capability; nursing staff is certified in both PALS and ACLS • Post training years factored into offered salary • Sign on bonus • Relocation assistance • CME • Student loan repayment This city with a growing population of 11,196, is home to one of the world’s largest man-made lakes ringing in at 101 miles in length and a whopping 85 miles deep!
