Internal Medicine Hospitalists to provide inpatient care during night hours and provide night-coverage hospitalist services. Family Medicine physicians interested in inpatient adult, acute-care medicine should inquire. This established program has three physician members and the Nocturnist Program Physicians mutually determine their schedules to provide coverage as follows:
Weekdays 7 PM to 7 AM
Physicians work an average of 12 shifts a month with flexible scheduling
The Nocturnist Program will support The mission to provide the finest patient experience and improve the health of the community. Current hospitalist coverage exists during the day by lnternal Medicine, Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine specialists. An Intensivist group oversees all critical care (ICU) . Hospitalists will supervise night float interns from our Internal Medicine Residency Program and will have the ability for resident teaching. Details of the Nocturnist Program will be shared with interested candidates.

Minimum Qualifications: Medical Degree (MD or DO); Graduate of an ACGME approved program; BC (BE if new graduate); State of Ohio Medical License (or eligible to obtain).
