Physician: Hospitalist Internal Medicine Boston, MA. A group needs a hospitalist and nocturnist to complement the group of physicians. Full time is 14 shifts every 28 days. The hospitalists work a 7 on/7 off schedule for 10 - 12 hour shifts seeing between 14-16 patients per shift. Nocturnists have a flexible schedule that can include 4 on/3 off for 12 hour shifts and do approximately 6-8 admissions per shift. Closed ICU. No procedures. There is opportunity to precept IM residents. Employed guaranteed base compensation for 2 years, then productivity. Benefits include malpractice, health, life, disability, and retirement plan.
