Hospitalist Group is looking for a Medical Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with recruitment and interviewing of all program staff, developing and maintaining positive rapport with hospital administration and board members, participation in the hospital's performance improvement activities, and regular meetings with hospital administration and directors of ancillary departments that support the work of the Hospital Medicine program. Qualifications include Board Certification in Internal Medicine, excellent communication skills, hospital medicine leadership experience, and the ability to spend sufficient time at the hospital outside of clinical hours to fulfill administrative duties.
Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Internal Medicine. Compensation is competitive and includes full employed benefits package; sign-on bonus and relocation.
