Hospital / Clinic Employed Hospitalist: Internal Medicine Job in Rapid City, South Dakota

This Internal Medicine hospitalist position in Rapid City, South Dakota is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed arrangement. In this structure, you would work as a W-2 employee of the hospital or clinic, which handles compensation, benefits, malpractice coverage, and scheduling, and provides the clinical facility, staff, and supporting infrastructure. This setup is designed to limit business and administrative responsibilities so you can focus on clinical care.

Compensation for this role can be structured through an income guarantee, straight employment, an employment agreement with a production bonus, or a standard contract, with the financial offering listed at the Open tier. Relocation assistance, a signing bonus, a training stipend, and loan assistance are available in support of the transition into this permanent position.

There is no patient call rotation and no emergency department call associated with this role. Candidates who are board certified or board eligible, trained as an MD or DO, and either U.S. citizens or green card holders are eligible to apply, and physicians at all experience levels — from those currently in training to very experienced hospitalists — are considered.
