MS is a strong & viable state to practice hospital medicine. Located less than 4-hours from the beaches on the Alabama & Florida Gulf Coast. Driving distance to the TN mountains or to city life in New Orleans, Atlanta or Nashville. This area is known for historical buildings and having a moderate climate all year round. Acute care facility. • Trauma: Level II. • ADC: 15-18 HM patients. • Support Staff: RN’s, Unit Clerks, Admin w/ full sub-specialty back-up support typical of a regional hospital. • BC IM candidates. • MD or DO. • EMR: Epic. • Procedures/Codes: Central lines, BLS/ACLS required. Open ICU, w/ full sub-specialty backup support. • Schedule: 7on/7off; 7a – 7p. Facility has a dedicated Nocturnist for nights. • Loan Repayment Program offered. • Perm Compensation: Base salary, plus productivity bonuses. Earning potential of $300k. Health & welfare package w/ med-mal (tail) & 401k retirement. Moving allowance $8,000, CME w/ $5,000 allowance and loan repayment. Personal/Vacation days available. Extra pay for additional shifts.
