This hospitalist internal medicine position in Jackson, Mississippi is offered as a hospital/clinic-employed arrangement. *Hospital Employed position and Independent Contractor structure combined
*One hospitalist job working 7 on 7 off (Days only), second practice is rounding at a busy LTAC 8 weeks per year (Days only)
*7 on 7 off at 200 Bed Hospital, 12 hour shifts
*Work an additional week every sixth week at a busy LTAC and earn additional $250K/yr ($4,400 per day).
*At LTAC get $65/hr plus billings = $250K for 8 weeks / 1099 structure
*The two jobs combined equal $3000 per day
*Have nocturnists - Day work only
*Group of 6 Hospitalists
*When at hospital avg 14-20 patients per day
*When at modern LTAC do 1-3 admissions per day
*Compensation of $320K+ at hospital plus $250K+ at LTAC
