- Independent financially sound hospital
- One facility with under 75 beds
- 2 doctors and a Nurse Practitioner 
- 7 on / 7 off schedule
- Approximately 8:00 - 4:30 
- NP comes in at 4:00
- Take after hours call 
- 99% of the time will not be called back in before morning
- Medical director takes the call one night per week for relief
- Patient census of 14-16 + 4-6 discharges and admits
