Practice Details

Growing 6 physician and 1 PA hospitalist program in Northeast North Carolina is looking to grow. Work 7 days on and 7 days off from 8am to 8pm. Work a week of nights every 3 months. No call. The census average is 15 to 18. The nights are admissions only no rounding and they average 3 to 6 admissions a night. Rounding in ICU but no procedures no lines and no vents. Work at only one hospital with over 250 beds. This will be an employed position from the hospital with a starting base of $20000 in year 1 $206000 in year 2 and $216000 in year 3 with $10000 in yearly incentive bonuses. $200000 in sign on and relocation bonuses. They also provide malpractice with tail $4500 CME allowance 4 weeks vacation and health insurance for physician and family. They also offer student loan reimbursement. The community has about 20000 residents and a service area of 85000 people. There are several lakes and rivers in the area the Atlantic Ocean is under 2 hours and both Richmond and Raleigh are 1.5 hours. The area offers 4 distinct seasons and numerous outdoor and water activities.
