Permanent Hospitalist: Family Medicine Job in New York

Join an expanding group of hospitalists in upstate New York. This position is located an hour from Montreal Lake Placid and Burlington VT. They are currently looking to hire 2 more hospitalists. There are 4 permanent hospitalists 2 locum tenens and several moonlighters. Will work 18 shifts per month but will be going to 15. The shifts are 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. The schedule is 5 on 5off. The inpatient census is 9-14. The hospital has over 250 beds. It is a not for profit hospital. There are 155 physicians on staff. The service area is 170000. The population is 38000. The cost of living is low. This opportunity is located at the foothills of the Adirondacks Mountains. This is an employed position through a practice management group. The salary is $126 per hour. You will be required to work 180 hours per month. Anything over 180 hours would be considered overtime and will make $131 per hour.
