Hospital is seeking to recruit BC/BE* Internal Medicine Physicians/ Hospitalists to help aide in the growth of the Hospitalist Program. Position opportunities include a general Hospitalist and a Nocturnist. Ideal candidates should have experience at a tertiary medical center and have the ability to manage the complex patient in addition to interaction with affiliated residency programs for Intensivists and Family Medicine. The positions require patient care in a 396 bed acute care facility with 24/7 in house coverage. The positions do provide ICU coverage but there is no requirement to respond to codes or procedures given the specialist support available. Open ICU. H1B support available - cap eligible only.
General Hospitalist: The shifts are 7 on and 7 off and 7am - 7pm
Nocturnist Hospitalist: The current admission ratio is 8 per night per physician. A nurse practitioner is also available to assist with floor call and admissions. The shifts are 7 on 7 off and 7pm - 7am.
*Hospital bylaws require board certification within 5 years of completing residency.
