Hospital employed hospitalist position just south of Champaign Illinois is growing. Work a block schedule 7 days on and 7 days off all 12 hour shifts. See a census of 20 patients. They round in the ICU and do procedures. The admit to only one hospital with 187 beds and 140 physicians on staff. The hospital is offering a starting base salary of $236500 plus bonuses malpractice relocation and an excellent benefits plan that includes health/dental/vision for physician and family life insurance disability $6000 CME allowance 3 different pension plan options and more. This community is only 45 minutes from Champaign and has about 20000 residents. It boasts great schools affordable housing and is steep in history and the town was built around the development of the railroad. Several lakes and parks in the area.
