Leading, nationally recognized Department of Family Medicine is recruiting a Geriatric Division Director. Located in a 120,000 sq. ft. facility, the department provides a wide variety of comprehensive primary care services for all age groups to include: geriatrics, sports medicine, procedural skills, obstetrical care, nutrition services, counseling, and psychological support in an integrated care model. The mission of the Geriatrics Division is to care for the older population and prepare all levels of learners for the challenges of caring for older patients. Seeking an innovative, enthusiastic leader who is board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with additional qualifications in Geriatrics. Serve as a member of the department’s senior leadership team and set the course for the Geriatrics Division. Patient care in both the ambulatory geriatric clinic and inpatient settings, as well as one continuing care retirement community with skilled care beds. Strong emphasis on teaching, mentoring, advising, supervision of residents, fellows, medical students, and other learners in Geriatrics. Opportunities to develop administrative and scholarship skills.
