An Award-Winning healthcare system is searching for a full time BC/BE Geriatrician to join their Division of Geriatrics Palliative Care and Post-acute Medicine in Western MA. They are one of only 44 nationally grant funded Geriatric Education Centers through HRSA’s Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program. Their faculty members teach annually at national meetings (such as the American Geriatrics Society) and have received multiple grants and leadership awards in recent years.They clearly recognize the value of geriatrics and has identified geriatrics and palliative care as an area of strategic focus for its coming 3 year plan. An Acute Care for Elders project won the health system’s quality award last year further increasing support for the mission of the division.
