HSC Health is the academic clinical practice for the Health Science Center. The University of North Texas Health Science Center’s Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a qualified Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology.

About This Opportunity:

·       Well-established and growing patient population in a rapidly growing community Diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of digestive disorders and conditions and Endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy

  • Participation in medical student  clinical teaching, and supervision of Internal Medicine Residents

  • Significant participation in GI Fellowship, including precepting fellows clinic to serve as fellowship faculty

  • Outpatient/Hospital procedures

  • Night and weekend call, GI Fellow first call

  • GI inpatient consult service

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible

  • Opportunity to join teaching faculty at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine within the University of North Texas Health Science Center (HSC)

  • Research opportunities available within TCOM and other professional schools at HSC
