Academic Gastroenterology Job in Boston, Massachusetts
This Gastroenterology position in Boston is structured as an academic opportunity — one that places you within a teaching institution setting, where clinical practice is combined with teaching and, often, research. Compensation in this kind of arrangement is typically salaried through the institution, with career advancement following an academic track rather than a private-practice partnership model.
This particular role is offered under several possible practice structures, including single-specialty group, multi-specialty group, hospital/clinic/MSO employment, and this academic option — so the academic framing represents one available path rather than the only one. Compensation here is structured as straight employment or as an employment agreement with a production bonus, with the financial offering listed in the $500,000–$549,999 range. Relocation assistance is available to support your transition into the role.
On the call side, the position carries a 1:5 patient call rotation shared within the practice, and the role is listed with no emergency department call responsibilities.
