Practice Details

This three physician gastroenterology practice is adding another physician due to continued growth in the area and with an eye toward succession planning as one of the physicians will be looking at retirement in the future.  Located in Hawaii on the Big Island, with a population of over 185,000, the area is noted for its beauty, beaches and multitude of outdoor activities. 

The group only goes to one hospital (five minutes from the office) and one endoscopy center (adjacent to the office). This is a great lifestyle practice where everything is close by and where time off is a must.  A four day work week is the norm except when you are on call.  Call would be 1:4 with Hospitalist admitting.    A competitive first year compensation with comprehensive benefits including six weeks’ vacation (in the first year), family health insurance and funded retirement plan are part of the package.  Ownership would be available in the endoscopy center once partnership is attained. ERCP experience or willingness to train is a must.
