Physician works as a leader of a Care Team. Utilizing Essentia Care Processes,
the physician works collaboratively with other health care team members to
achieve patient care objectives and to provide continuity of care for patients
and families.

Pediatric Physicians and NP/PA’s along with1 Psychotherapist
•Over 20 outreach specialists including
Ophthalmology, ENT, Audiology OBGYN, General Surgery, Weight Management,
Diabetes, Nephrology, Pain Management, Orthopedic, Podiatry, Cardiology,
Tobacco Cessation, Mediation Therapy Management, Gastroenterology, Vascular
Surgery, Urology, and Behavioral Health all on-site as well as others available
at the main campus in Duluth
•Nurse-on-line triage 24/7
•EPIC (electronic medical records) in clinic and
hospital
•Admit to St. Mary's Hospital-Superior, a 25-bed
CAH facility with transitional care services. ER physicians staff the ED, along
with a PA who staffs the Fast Track ER. Transfers complex cases to St. Mary's
Medical Center, 330 bed facility (7 miles from clinic)
