We have a permanent, full time, employment opportunity to work for one of the largest tribes in Oklahoma. This practice will include supervising midlevel staff. No hospital privileges and no ER call will be required. This Indian Health Care Facility refers all patients to the tribal hospital for specialty and hospital care. The clinic is full service with all ancillary services available on site. You must be a U.S. citizen, green card, H1B. Starting salary and sign on bonus as well as salary progression for retention. All federal and tribal holidays are provided and the clinic is not open after 5 p.m., holidays or weekends. The benefits are beyond compare including relocation. IHS scholars and those interested in loan repayment are welcome to apply. The McAlester Choctaw Nation Health Clinic opened in July 2007. The modern, state of the art facility provides outpatient health care services to approximately 4300 patients per month and employs a staff of 70. Full time providers at McAlester include 2 family practice physicians, 1 internal medicine physician, 2 pediatricians, 2 psychiatrists, 1 nurse practitioner, 2 dentists and 1 optometrist. Additional services include physical therapy, behavioral health counseling, dental hygiene and podiatry two days per week. We represent and support our members, who are not-for-profit community based providers in Oklahoma that provide quality health care services to underserved areas and populations. OKPCA is dedicated to improving access to affordable health care and reducing health disparities for all Oklahomans by increasing the number of community health centers and strengthening safety-net providers.
