Duties include providing primary care to a cohort of veteran patients in an outpatient clinical setting. This will include taking medical histories, providing physical examinations, assessing recent medical studies, adjusting current medications, initiating new medical therapies, and requesting specialty care through consults for this panel of patients. The incumbent will be fully trained in the PACT (Patient Aligned Care Team) model of care, either by previous training or during their initial tenure with the Black Hills Health Care System. Additional duties may include urgent care coverage, employee health coverage, and monitoring of stress tests (training may be provided). The PACT clinic coverage will be at the Rapid City Community Based Clinic.
