We have a number of FP positions located throughout Alaska, typically in smaller Alaska Native communities of 400 to 5,000 population. We have a number of outpatient clinics and Clinic Director positions that operate 8-5 M/F . In some locations very good housing is provided free of charge, you only pay utilities. A car is seldom required as most clinics are located within comfortable walking distance of housing. It is entirely possible for a FP physician joining us right out of residency to work in one of our remote locations, M/F 8-5, and discover that within 6-7 years they have "saved" more than a million dollars, after tax, and all of their student loans will have been paid as well. We have other opportunities where a qualified ER physician can work in the ER of one of our remote hospitals earning a full years income working 30 days on site followed by 30 days off as a regular schedule for one or more years.
