About the Role 

This Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall, Wisconsin is recruiting for a full time BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to work in their rural ER.  Physician will be responsible for covering 160 hours per month in the ER and providing medical oversight in the emergency department to include: oversight of policies and procedures, education and training, quality measures, and implementing best practices and medical direction for our ambulance service. The Tri-County Hospital averages approximately 5,000 visits per year and is a level 4 Trauma Center with a full time experienced midlevel staff. The emergency department doubles as an urgent care for the community from 5pm-9pm on weeknights and 9am-9pm on weekends.  There is no hospital rounding responsibility with this role.  Their flexible scheduling allows for 12, 24 or longer shifts in addition to free access to an apartment on site for personal use.
