Treat patients to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, request necessary tests and follow-up visits. As necessary, stabilize patient and coordinate the transportation of patient to tertiary care centers. Coordinate admissions into the hospital.
Work cooperatively and supportively with the members of the medical staff to provide emergency services for all patients who present to the emergency department.
Work cooperatively and supportively with the other clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure availability, quality, and effective use of services.
Monitor community needs and provide significant input into the EMS system and disaster planning.
Cover 3, 12 hours shifts per week.
Additional shifts are available
Shifts are on a rotating basis with 50% day shifts and 50% night shifts.
