This upstate New York community is looking to expand their existing emergency medicine department. There are currently 15 physicians in the group. They schedule is 12 12 hour shifts a month. 50000 annual volume. The hospital is a 275 bed facility that has a level I trauma designation. The serving are is above 250000 people. There are 180 physicians on staff. This is an employed position through the hospital with a started base salary of $300000. They offer a $70000 sign on bonus plus yearly loan assistance. They also ha a full benefits package that includes paid malpractice insurance with tail health insurance dental $200000 life insurance policy 7 days vacation 401k with match traditional pension plan $4000 in CME allowance plus paid licenses and dues.
