The Emergency Department provides multi-disciplinary coordinated care between the physicians, nurse practitioners', nurses, physician assistants and technologists ensuring you are always receiving the highest quality of care. The Emergency Department Physician will perform the duties and responsibilities needed for the proper, efficient, and professional care and treatment of all patients presenting to the Emergency Department and for the proper, efficient, and professional operation of the Emergency Department. Candidates must be a graduate of a medical school approved by the Council on Medical Education. Additionally, candidates must hold or be eligible for a New York license to practice medicine, and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required. A minimum of one year of experience in Emergency Medicine preferred. Hours/year: 1728 (Flex Schedule / Very Competitive Salary) Education Requirements: Graduate of a medical school approved by the Council on Medical Education. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Certification/Licensing Requirements: Hold or be eligible for a New York license to practice medicine.
