Responsibilities
- Use appropriate techniques to examine and evaluate patients experiencing skin afflictions.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions
- Perform patient consultations for dermatological related conditions as requested by other medical specialists
- Create a treatment plan for patients specific to their conditions
- Monitor the effectiveness of skin treatments and assess the progress of patients.
- Guide the medical assistants and nurses in the patients’ treatment
- Provide patient education
- Continue education to stay up to date in the area to provide the best care possible to patients.
- Ensure compliance with current medical laws and ethics
