A busy private practice with locations in Southeastern Connecticut and Southwestern Rhode Island is seeking a Pulmonary Medicine & Critical Care Medicine physician interested in a traditional mix of pulmonary and critical care medicine in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The practice is looking to provide intensivist services in Connecticut and Rhode Island. There are a variety of housing options including year-round waterfront homes excellent schools and a safe family-oriented community. Great attractions are located within a short driving distance including miles and miles of coastline exceptional golf courses museums theater and performing arts parks plus numerous ski attractions. The job details include:
· MD or DO Degree
· Licensed in State of Connecticut and Rhode Island
· Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
· Fellowship trained in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care
· Practice includes one physician and two non-physician providers
· Includes inpatient (pulmonary consults) outpatient and critical care units
· 20 beds at one hospital and 9 beds at the other
· Will rotate between the two hospitals
· Call within the practice is 1:2 and growing to 4-5 intensivists providing services at both hospitals
