The Department of Cardiology within the John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana is searching for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our multispecialty group practice. Ochsner Health System is a not-for-profit, multi-specialty healthcare delivery system composed of 15 hospitals and approximately 1,000 physicians. The Department of Cardiology, based at the main campus New Orleans, seeks a Non-Invasive Cardiologist with an interest in TTE and TEE. Candidates with level 3 Echo Certification are preferred. We are searching for someone who enjoys patient care in a group practice setting, teaching students, residents and fellows, and participating in programs to enhance quality and safety. The Department of Cardiology at the Main Campus offers a robust academic practice with our own medical students, medicine residents and 24 cardiology fellows. The non-invasive imaging Section includes a group of 8 dedicated imagers who split their time between reading non-invasive cardiovascular imaging studies, providing direct patient care, and teaching medical students, medical residents and cardiology fellows. Ochsner Clinic is an academic multispecialty group practice with our own medical school and the largest post-graduate education program in the state of Louisiana.
