Typical work week is Monday to Friday with 7-8 days of call per month. First call is handled in house with secondary call being beeper call. There are multiple facilities and you will be privileged with each but have one "home" facility.
For this assignment, you will need an Illinois license or be willing to get one. Board certification is preferred but they will accept a truly board eligible provider.
Standard cases are bread and butter, OB, some cardiac and even a mix of pain cases if you are open to that.
