Permanent Internal Medicine: General Job in West Virginia

The Health System formed in 2007 on the strength of two established hospitals is seeking to add physicians of all specialties to their team.  Bringing two hospitals together under one umbrella  allows us to bring innovative and cost-effective health care to the Kanawha Valley. With combined years of service, The Health system brings nearly 170 years of service to our region. The system is a 383-bed hospital system with 1,812 employees and an estimated 450 physicians, making it the 18th largest private employer in the West Virginia.

The Health system located in Charleston WV, is seeking  Primary Care Physicians to practice in an outpatient clinic location that is part of a multi-specialty physician group made up of over 80 providers.

Primary Care:

*        Employed position with the health system, a multi-specialty physician group made up of over 80 providers

  *   Physician must be Board Certified/Board Eligible

  *   Outpatient clinic setting

     *   Multiple opportunities

  *   $225,000 base salary, guaranteed for 2 years (3 years for J1 candidate)

  *   Production incentives

     *   wRVUs with a set target

  *   Monday - Friday schedule

     *   Expected clinic volume of 20-25 patients per day

     *   1/4 or 1/5 call schedule

  *   Greenway EHR, but changing to Meditech Ambulatory in early 2021

  *   Starting bonus

  *   Retention bonus used for student loan repayment ($20k/yr)

  *   Relocation allowance ($10,000)
