Locum Tenens Hospitalist: Internal Medicine Job in Tucson, Arizona

Job title:

Hospitalist

Must-haves:

1.) Must be Board Certified in either Family Med or Internal Med 

2.) Must have BLS and/or ACLS cert

3.) Must have or be willing to get an Arizona medical license 

4.) Must have active DEA at the time of start date

5.) Must be accountable, professional and in-sync with credentialing

Schedule:

7on/7off

12 hour day shift/7am-7pm

Open 15 shifts per month

Start date:

September

Credentialing takes: 60-90 days

Length of assignment:

6 months- ongoing

Position Details:

Age range - All adult, no peds. All 18 plus

Procedures - NONE

Admissions per day - 0-2 admits per day. May start with 0-2 new patients in the AM

EMR - Cerner

Responding to code? Only if it's your own patient 

Rapid response? Only if it's your own patient 

NO ICU covering

Travel, Accommodations and Medical Malpractice are all Covered
