Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Job in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania

• Job title: Emergency Medicine Physician Must-haves:

  • Must be ABEM…. or Board Certified FP or IM w/recent experience in ER 

  • Must have ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certs

  • Must respond to floor codes. ED physician responds to floor and ICU codes and imminent delivery in OB if OB physician not in house

  • Must have an active PA medical license

  • Must have good communication, transparency and accountability skills

   

  Shifts needed in August: Aug 4 6p Aug 6 6p Aug 9 6p Aug 10 6p Aug 11 6p Aug 12 6p Aug 26 6p Aug 30 6p Aug 31 6p *Shifts are scheduled month-by-month.

  Credentialing takes: 2-3 weeks

  Length of Assignment: 6 months - ongoing

  Positions details:

  Annual volume of facility: 14,000

  Patients per hour:

  ·         7a-3p 10-20

  ·         3p-11p 15-25 

  ·         11p-7p 5-8

  # ED beds?   9 with 1 designated Triage room

  12-hour shifts

            MD Shift Hours: 6p-6a 

  Admission rate? 11%

  Trauma level? None 

  EMR – Med Series 4
