Hospital is home to more than 100 providers representing 16 medical specialties in 5 communities. Providers enjoy the benefits of advanced medical technology, in the convenience of a small town community setting. Beautiful neighborhoods are within walking distance of the hospital. Hospital is looking for a Anesthesiologist to join their group of 7 ANE's and 6 CRNA's. Very friendly working environment with excellent compensation and benefits package. All membership fees, DEA fees and Licensing fees are paid by the hospital. Each physician gets additional CME allowance. Physicians do their own cases as well as non-medically direct CRNA's.
Level 3 trauma center, labor and delivery unit with approximately 100-110 deliveries per month. Call schedule is approximately 1:8 first call as well as 1:8 back up call. Each day has 3 people on call; Physician on the first call, CRNA on second call and another physician on back up call. Involved in wide variety of cases such as Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, OB/GYN, Urology, Ortho, ENT, EP lab, General. Cardiac experience with TEE proficiency or Cardiac Fellowship is a plus.
Physicians are usually involved with doing more complicated cases such as Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Craniotomies, EP lab, trauma, or any sick and unstable patients. CRNA's are usually assigned easy cases with healthier patients.
