Acceptable Specialties: BC Pediatrics with comparable ER volume experience
Facility Type: Hospital Lev 2 ER
Size of Hospital/Facility: 500 beds, ED Beds: 46 adult; 10 peds
Reason for Coverage Need: Back-filling vacant positions
Expendited privileges - as soon as credentialed
Length Of Assignment: On-going for 6 months
Minimum Length Accepted: 3 months
Schedule: 8 AM -5 PM; 5PM-1AM for Peds General ER shifts per below
Patient Volume: Adult- 62K; Peds 32K
Support Staff: Advance Practice Providers 36 hours
Certifications Required: BC IM FP, ACLS, PALS & ATLS
Carting/Dictation: Meditech
scribes available only during peak hours approx 11A to 11P

Annual Patient Volume: Adult- 62K; Peds 32K

• ED Beds: 46 adult; 10 peds
• Admission Rate: 16% adult; 3% peds *may be higher
• Documentation: Meditech; scribes available
• Physician Daily Coverage: Adult- 48 MD hours; Peds- 17 MD hours
• APC Daily Coverage: Adult- 52 APC hours; Peds- 32 APC hours
