Permanent Physiatry (PM&R) Jobs in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Exceptional opportunity for a full time Psychiatrist to join a committed team of behavioral health professionals providing care along the continuum of care. Join a diverse group of teams serving the community which include case management, outpatient services, crisis residential and specialized residential services. Opportunity to join one of Michigan’s largest non-profit behavioral health providers.


Details:

  • Psychiatric Evaluations
  • Medication Reviews
  • Collaboration with PAs and NPs
  • Probate court/forensic work
  • Prescribing psychotropic medications
  • Providing consultation on complex cases
  • Options to serve geriatric, adult and adolescent populations

Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or eligible in Psychiatry
  • In person services will be provided in greater Grand Rapids Area
  • Services for programs in outlying areas may be provided via tele psychiatry platforms
  • Some travel for probate court orders and evaluations may be needed
  • Shared weeknight and weekend call (by phone) with additional pay
  • Typical work week would include probate court work (3-8 hours), crisis residential services (2-3 days) and case management/outpatient services (1 day)
