Job Description:

Our client is looking for a HIV Physician to fill a full-time position. The Physician will provide medical care for the patients of the center. Essential functions include: diagnose and treat HIV infected adults in ambulatory care settings, diagnose and treat HIV uninfected adults for all medical conditions typically in the scope of the generalist physician, referral of patients to medical or surgical specialists as needed and the preparation of clinical summaries for those consultants, daily review of lab results and medication refills, participation in coverage for the other medical providers in cases of vacations, conferences, illness, and overflow, participate in the clinic’s on call system, make detailed clinical notes entered in the patient’s electronic medical records that comply with standards, participate in management assignments and meetings, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Physician must have either M.D. or D.O. degree. Board Certified in either Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease. A valid license to practice medicine in the State of California. Registered by the Drug Enforcement Administration. Within six months of employment must become certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
