Permanent Psychiatry: General Job in Hershey, Pennsylvania

Medical Director of Outpatient Services.

This is a full-time position and is compensation $220,000 annual + stipend + benefits

Ideally board certified.

The job would be 90% clinical and 10% admin. There will be call in the evening once every 10 to 14 days; only go to hospital for dire emergencies. There is also two mandatory weekend IP calls per year; additional weekends for extra compensation

Initial evaluations 60 minutes, Initial medication management session 30 minutes, afterwards 20 minutes

Provide direct services to patients in both partial hospitalization and outpatient services.

Clinically supervise and direct care of all outpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services to children, adolescents, adults, MH/ID, Hispanic clinic and seniors.

Identify opportunities for program development and implementation of evidence-based practices. Function as member of Quality Control, Quality Committee of the Board and serve on other committees of the hospital. This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer Salary as quoted by the client will be in the 220K range with consideration given academic experience, faculty rank and percentage of clinical involvement assigned to the position.

The positions, in general will be offered on the Assistant Professor level.

Private practice is permitted with the permission of the Department of Psychiatry Chair.
