Permanent Anesthesiology Job in Urbana, Illinois

A large Multispecialty Group in Central Illinois is looking for a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join their department.  The group consists of 450 physicians in 80 specialties.  It is not-for-profit, locally owned and physician led and includes a 393-bed hospital with a Level I Trauma Center with Open Heart, Trauma and Neurological cases and potential academic affiliation.

·         Collegial team of 11 General Anesthesiologists, 2 Pediatric Anesthesiologists and 50 CRNA’s

·         Provide service across the enterprise which include the main Hospital, Digestive Health Institute, Interventional Labs, OB, Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and Ambulatory Surgery Center

·         21 ORs running on blocks averaging 75 cases per day

·         Wide variety of cases – excludes transplants, burns and pediatric hearts

·         Majority of cases are supervision of CRNAs

·         Call schedule of ~ 1:8
