Emergency Medicine Physician
Our client in Central Georgia is currently looking for locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency Medicine Physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis.
- EM Physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
Requirements:
- BC in EM, IM OR FP with residency completion
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS required
Practice Details:
- Coverage Date: November going forward
- Shift Coverage:
- 29 hours physician coverage
- 24 hours advanced practitioner coverage
- Shift Times (no 24-hour shifts):
- AM Shift: 7a-5p
- Day Shift: 3p-12a
- Night Shift: 9p-7a
- Codes are required
- Provider will do procedures
- Has seasoned nursing staff and well trained supporting physician specialists in the area
- No Scribes
