Permanent Internal Medicine: Outpatient Only Opportunity in Wilson, North Carolina

Wilson Medical Associates P.A. was started in 1992 by Drs. Harvey Grode, Kent Anderson, Richard Burdick and Charles Baio.  After the retirement of Dr. Grode and Dr. Anderson, Dr. Baio and Dr. Burdick were joined in 2001 by Dr. Christine Barton.  For the past 24 years, we have served Wilson and the surrounding communities with excellent medical care.  Our busy practice offers state of the art lab and x-ray departments including in-house bone density scanning and ultrasounds; bariatric care as well as an excellent nursing staff who take care of prior authorizations for outside tests and/or prescriptions as deemed necessary by the insurance companies. 

At this time, Dr. Burdick participates with an on-call group at Wilson Medical Center and this opportunity is available to you also; however, Dr. Baio and Dr. Barton no longer “do rounds” at the hospital. 

Once the physician’s office over-head is met each month, in addition to a salary it is possible he/she will receive a bonus.  The amount of the bonus would obviously depend on how much revenue he/she generates.  The new physician cannot buy into the practice but will be able to buy into the building after one year. 

We have an up to date EMR system that is compliant with Meaningful Use and we file our claims on a daily basis to ensure payments are received in a timely manner. 

 As a courtesy to our patients, we electronically file all insurance claims and help our patients with any questions they may have concerning their insurance coverage.
