DESCRIPTION: 

. This position is for inpatient services.

. Possible assignment to multiple units

. The caseload is 18-24.

. Completion of routine patient admissions and discharges.

. Provide psychiatric response for emergent patient crisis.

. Ability to maintain professional documentation within an electronic medical record.

. Ability to complete evaluations for Court Order Psychiatric Medication (COPM), including court testimony.

. Fast-paced environment requires skills to respond to psychiatric and medical crisis for male/female patients.

. Schedule will be discussed at time of the interview.

REQUIRED: 

· NY state license; active, unrestricted

· Board Certified ABPN

· Within 6 months of Forensics/Corrections experience.

. Must have experience working within a correctional setting, including county jails and state prisons.

. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

· Crisis treatment

COMPENSATION:

· OPEN RATE - Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.) (Bid for interview closes 03/26/2024).

· Malpractice insurance provided.

SCHEDULE:

· Mon-Fri 8-4:30 pm, 40 hr./wk.
