Formed by the merger of Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center, Garnet Health Medical Center moved the two campuses into a sinngle-site, new, state-of-the-art facility in 2011. Anesthesiologist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)

  • The Anesthesiologist provides clinical anesthesiology services and patient care pre and post op.
  • The Anesthesiologist monitors patients while in surgery.
  • Care for patients in ICU, short stay unit, acute pain management, and emergency airway management.
  • The Anesthesiologist reviews medical files and lab results.
  • Informing patients about risks associated with anesthesia.


Anesthesiologist - REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited college.
  • Current license to practice medicine in the state of New York.
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
  • Currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.
