Description:

·        Shift Schedule: Assist with call only, bed patient down for perm surgeon Monday – Friday 8a-5p (perm surgeon would do the surgery); emergency surgery by locums only at night and on weekends

·        Call Schedule/Responsibilities: 7a-7a call/TH, FRI, SAT, SUN (2x’s month)

·        Assist with call only, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

·        Inpatient

·        Type of Patients/Cases: Hospital (floor and ED) consults, emergency surgery only when needed at night and on weekends

·        Procedures, Bread and Butter General Surgery

·        PPD: 3-8 in 24-hours

·        EMR: EPIC

Required:

·        TN License; active and unrestricted will consider IMLC

·        Board Certified/Board Eligible (truly within 3 years of residency)

·        BLS, ACLS
